Summary
Join our team at Levindale Hospital's Hall 1, a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our subacute rehabilitation unit, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide individualized care plans for our residents. This role requires compassion, dedication, and the ability to handle high complexity needs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Attend to daily unit operations.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure residents' needs are met.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
- AHA CPR Certification.
- Less than one year of nursing experience required.
