Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at The University of Vermont Medical Center. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures. As a Staff Nurse II, you will be an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, delivering direct patient care, education, and post-discharge support.
Unit Description
The EP lab staff nurse plays a critical role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients at different stages of health and illness. The position may involve taking charge based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care during EP procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Deliver patient education and preparation for post-discharge care.
- Participate in nursing team initiatives and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in Electrophysiology or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
