Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Denver Health. Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify health problems.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Monitor and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions.
- Modify patient treatment and care plans based on responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to evaluate and deliver patient care.
- Administer nursing care, medications, and promote positive patient experiences.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing Required.
- Valid BLS and RN licenses required.
- Demonstrated adherence to professional nursing standards and competencies.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to react calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and patient care instruments.
- Experience in EPIC documentation preferred.
