We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Lead Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality care and services for our residents, leading a team of Care Managers during shifts, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care to residents.
- Document care provided and review team documentation for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with timekeeping and meal/rest period policies.
- Participate in meetings and share important information with other Lead Care Managers.
- Maintain a safe environment and report incidents promptly.
Other Responsibilities:
- Administer medications if needed during high volume times.
- Participate in onboarding new team members and support their development.
- Communicate changes in resident conditions and assist in updating Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Handle conflicts within the team and contribute to performance reviews.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; certifications may be required per state regulations.
- Previous experience working with seniors and demonstrated leadership competencies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer skills and willingness to learn new applications.
