Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. This part-time position for nights involves assisting in the direction of nursing services for a unit/hall, delegating duties, observing patients, and implementing necessary changes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms or reactions and notify the attending physician in emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide high-quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a keen interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Attendance in in-service training and staff meetings as needed.
