Field Service Technician

Job Description

Astrophysics Inc. is a leading global designer and manufacturer of X-Ray security inspection systems. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of our products at customer sites throughout the United States. This role requires technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of X-Ray security inspection systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Deliver outstanding customer service experiences and promote extended service contracts.
• Provide operator training and technical support as required.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or related field, or 2-7 years of technical support or field service experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to various work sites and work independently.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
