Job Description
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons, offering evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in assisting with nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include observing patients for symptoms, notifying physicians of emergencies, and ensuring quality nursing care is provided to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of any changes.
- Implement physician's orders and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients and follow doctors' orders.
- CPR certification required annually.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
