Job Description

As an LPN, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include observing patients, notifying physicians of emergencies, and implementing changes in orders as directed. This role also involves delegating duties, providing quality nursing care, and participating in in-service training.

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
  • Ability to follow doctors' orders, CPR certification, and a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Attendance at in-service training and staff meetings as required.
