As a Senior Automation Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing complete automation solutions and programming equipment to meet specific requirements.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement cutting-edge software and machine control programs, including electrical systems, PLC programming, HMI design, robotic programming, troubleshooting, and industrial machine vision systems.
- Specify and evaluate hardware and software components to ensure efficient task completion, such as robots, sensors, motion controllers, and vision systems.
- Resolve programming challenges swiftly and effectively throughout the project lifecycle to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering team on automation technologies, including robotics, pneumatics, servo motion systems, and vision systems.
- Support the machine building process from assembly through testing, installation, and customer training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field.
- 5+ years of senior-level engineering experience with expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, servo control, electrical design, and industrial machine vision systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabView, MatLab, microcontrollers, or robotic programming is a plus.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support projects.
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
