Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Special Education

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join Sherwood Autism Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering adults with autism and developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles to support individualized educational and behavioral programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support based on individual student needs.
• Implement behavior support plans and intervention procedures under the guidance of BCBA.
• Record and monitor student progress and maintain accurate data for IEP/ISP goals.
• Organize and maintain student-accessed environments for safety and functionality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with US work authorization.
• RBT certification and experience in special education or related fields.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively.
• Positive demeanor, critical thinking skills, and customer service-oriented.
