School-Based Occupational Therapist (2024-2025)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year to join the team at Thrive Therapies Group. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school partners and practitioners to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and adjust strategies based on outcomes.
• Set high expectations for students, personalize learning approaches, and empower them to succeed academically and beyond.
• Engage with traditional educators, provide feedback on student progress, and offer professional development to enhance support services.
• Create and implement 504 and IEP goals, lead parent meetings, and ensure compliance with educational guidelines.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and an active TN State license.
