Job Description

Crystal Creamery Inc is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing plant maintenance, managing a union maintenance team, ensuring safe work practices, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize daily maintenance activities.
• Provide training and development to the maintenance team.
• Promote and maintain safe work practices and zero employee injuries.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance performance.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies for optimal equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Manage maintenance budget and ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage manufacturing maintenance.
• Expertise in food processing equipment maintenance and technology.
• Knowledge of food safety leadership and SQF requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration systems, HazMat, SPCC programs, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in Plant Automation/PLC programs.
• Excellent communication skills and financial acumen.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
