Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Retail Store Manager to join our team at Boy Scouts of America - Supply Group. As the Store Manager, you will be overseeing the overall sales and profitability of the Jacksonville Scout Shop. Your role includes establishing and maintaining relationships with the local Boy Scouts of America Council and associated council camps. You will lead a team to achieve sales targets, drive operational efficiency, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Sales Associates to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and develop staff to be knowledgeable product specialists.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory, and visual merchandising.
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and take necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing sales staff.
  • Report to the Territory Sales Supervisor with relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience.
  • 3+ years of retail sales experience.
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Knowledge of Scouting Program is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to understand financial reports.
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Operating Hours:

  • Monday: 9am - 6pm
  • Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 2pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.50
