Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the construction phase of commercial construction projects at Ethan Conrad Properties Inc. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and President of Construction, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring project success by coordinating various project aspects from procurement to design implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage project success and supervise project team members.
• Procure bids, award subcontracts, and ensure adherence to project schedule and design.
• Oversee accurate job cost postings and review project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, facilitate design decisions, and implement design changes.
• Liaise with agencies for permits, ensure compliance with protocols, and evaluate value engineering options.
• Participate in design reviews, track project timelines, and prepare project schedules and budgets.
• Review construction practicality, provide feedback on concept and working drawings, and oversee project completion.
• Prepare and submit project close out documents, review submittals, and address schedule slippages.
• Travel to Salinas and surrounding areas as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of preconstruction phase management or 5 years of construction management experience.
• Strong team building, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Compensation

Yearly Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000
