Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, a program of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position that involves providing essential medical care, administering medications, and working closely with our medical and clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and respond to client inquiries about medical issues.
• Assist psychiatrists in patient care and closely monitor clients' physical health.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, crisis intervention abilities, and a strong understanding of psychiatric medications and diagnoses. Training in First Aid, CPR, and medication administration is required, along with a valid Ohio Driver's License.

Requirements

• Practical nursing degree and licensure in Ohio.
• Experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
