Job Description
We are looking for an Application Engineer specializing in Business Process Management to join our Discover Network Fraud organization. As a technical engineer, you will be responsible for automating various processes using modern engineering practices like CI/CD, design, process automation, and microservices.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new features with high quality.
- Guide team members, provide oversight on design decisions, and ensure key results.
- Contribute to technology communities and support BPM.
- Evaluate and implement new product features, prioritize tasks, and manage application migrations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Open Shift Container or Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience in BPM administration, configuration, and implementation.
- Hands-on expertise in IBM BAW, process design, and application development.
- Proficiency in DevOps, build tools, cloud applications, and SQL.
- Certifications in BPM, process automations, and agile methodologies.
