Job Description
Discover Financial Services is looking for an Application Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex data solutions for Finance Corporate Services. You will play a key role in mentoring peers and providing technical thought leadership. Additionally, you will be proactive in issue identification and mitigation, actively coach and mentor the team, and build collaborative relationships.
Responsibilities
- Creates solutions addressing high impact technology and business priorities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Engineering.
- Technical proficiency rating of competent.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Agile software development and ETL solutions.
- Proficiency in AbInitio, SQL, and Unix Scripting.
- Experience with Maestro/Control-M, AWS, and data warehousing.
- External applicants require a technical interview.
