Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's dynamic team. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with team members and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
- Act independently within scope of responsibility and assist in achieving goals.
- Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines while operating equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, reporting any issues or incidents.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
- Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
