We are currently seeking a motivated Lab Pack Field Chemist to join our team at Heritage-Crystal Clean, Inc. As a Lab Pack Field Chemist, you will play a crucial role in managing on-site projects related to hazardous waste management and environmental assessments. Responsibilities
- Promote and uphold safe work behaviors in compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
- Manage all aspects of lab packing hazardous waste, including breakout of chemical inventories and proper waste transportation.
- Perform field tests, sampling, and assist with waste coordination activities.
- Ensure all jobs are completed with a focus on customer service, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in hazardous material management.
- Expertise in DOT and RCRA regulations, specifically in lab packaging services.
- Valid CDL class B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Educational Requirements
- BS in physical science or equivalent work experience.
- Desire to attain a CHMM designation within 18 months of hire.
