Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately for order fulfillment.
- Efficiently relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation, notifying management of any issues.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration within a team environment.
- Have a positive attitude, resilience, and a drive for success.
- Ability to interpret company policies, follow instructions, and work efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic arithmetic abilities, and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and operate powered industrial equipment.
