1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time member of the warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input on process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Help achieve budgeted goals and adhere to company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positivity, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies with attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
