Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory control processes.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Move and organize merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
- Prepare merchandise for shipping and unload incoming shipments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness to meet safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at Aldi.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Follow company policies and procedures efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate machinery, and work in varying temperatures.
