1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating with team members to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Clean warehouse and participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality and safety, following warehouse procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Demonstrates conscientious, collaborative, positive attitude, resilient, and drive for success behaviors.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
