Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking Warehouse Team Members to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for various merchandise movement tasks, including storing, moving, and distributing products. This is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary of $17 per hour.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

• Perform merchandise movement activities to ensure space efficiency.
• Manage product flow using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Provide training and lead by example to other team members.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Condense and move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Prepare merchandise for storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise with care.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Previous experience with POS systems is desirable.
