Floor Tech / Utility Housekeeper

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Floor Tech / Utility Housekeeper to join Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living, a vibrant retirement community in Overland Park. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness across our community, focusing on hard floor surfaces and waste removal. No travel is required, as all work is within the gated community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness through specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper waste handling and disposal.
• Assist with furniture setups and heavy object movement.
• Execute trash removal services.
• Manage and upkeep hard floor and carpet surfaces.

Requirements

• Operate carpet care, hard floor care, and trash removal equipment safely.
• Be flexible and responsive to resident and departmental requests.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Have experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
