Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up merchandise for our customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role offers an opportunity to interact with customers, work as part of a team, and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service and quality furniture.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Greet customers, conduct pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and ensure delivery accuracy.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
- Handle trucks and equipment properly to prevent damage and ensure staff safety.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and keep accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day shifts throughout the week in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and a 5-panel drug screening.
