Job Description
Join Slumberland Furniture as a Warehouse Team Member and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to merchandise movement and customer service. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position
This role involves storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will lead by example, provide training, and contribute to ensuring inventory accuracy.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Move and organize merchandise to optimize space.
- Handle merchandise for display, storage, delivery, and shipment.
- Utilize POS systems for effective inventory management.
- Inspect, receive, unpack, and assemble merchandise with precision.
- Conduct training for other team members.
- Maintain excellent customer service and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent damage and maintain a safe facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including maintenance and ground work.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED, basic math skills, knowledge of tools, valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and POS familiarity preferred.
