Job Description
We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise movement, ensuring accurate orders, and providing excellent customer service. This role includes operating forklifts and requires attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and store merchandise in designated locations.
- Handle merchandise for display, storage, delivery, and shipment.
- Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for managing inventory.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management and customer orders.
- Provide training and support to other team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain safety standards by following procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or working towards one).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
- Experience with point of sale systems is advantageous.
