Primary Objective & Scope of Position
The Senior Merchandise Handler will be responsible for storing, moving, and distributing products, as well as providing some training to other employees. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our merchandise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and condense merchandise to optimize storage space.
- Handle merchandises for display, storage, delivery, and shipment purposes.
- Utilize the POS system to manage inventory flow accurately.
- Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
- Support incoming and outgoing merchandise processes to maintain product quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in warehouse operations and POS system is desirable.
