Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as a Care Team Nurse. In this role, you will work closely with the Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Manager to ensure seamless operation, manage high-risk patients, provide education to families, deliver direct care, conduct laboratory services, and handle telephone and direct triaging.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and age-appropriate pediatric care.
• Assess the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Provide urgent triage care, handle EMR documentation, and facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals.
• Administer vaccines and medications, perform in-office procedures, and coordinate post-hospitalization care.
• Maintain continuing education in pediatric care and adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Proficiency in handling sensitive medical information and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and email.

Educational Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts. Basic Life Support certification and CEUs are mandatory. Practice must align with American Nursing Association Standards.
