Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as a Care Team Nurse responsible for leading the clinical operations. Working under the supervision of the Pediatrician, Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Manager, you will ensure seamless workflow, manage high-risk patients, deliver patient education, provide direct care and lab services, and handle triage duties.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in infection control and pediatric care.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs of patients and families.
• Provide urgent in-office and phone triage, along with crisis management.
• Accurately document nursing care using EMR.
• Facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Coordinate post-hospital discharge follow-ups to prevent readmissions.
• Engage in pediatric-focused continuing education.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Familiarity with handling sensitive medical information and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency in EMR, Microsoft Office, and email.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts are essential. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and compliance with CEU requirements are necessary. The nurse must practice within the guidelines set by the American Nursing Association Standards of Practice.
