Job Description

Bakerly Barn LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead technical aspects of engineering projects. The Project Engineer will design, specify, and commission process equipment, provide engineering support, and oversee deviation investigations. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer will ensure project goals are met or exceeded while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, coordinating equipment installations, optimizing processes, and providing technical guidance to personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and execute technical specifications provided by the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage supplier bids, negotiate quotes, and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate equipment installation with contractors and internal teams.
  • Facilitate the launch of new equipment/production lines with maintenance and production departments.
  • Train operators/technicians, propose optimizations, and ensure quality/safety standards.
  • Provide technical advice to internal/external stakeholders and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to achieve company goals.

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule and Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Engineering & Plant Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and working with foreign suppliers.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical dexterity and vision abilities required for handling equipment and tools.
