Principal Application Architect (Finacle)

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a Principal Application Architect (Finacle) to lead the technology strategy and technical capabilities for an application ecosystem. In this role, you will design application architecture that meets business and customer needs while ensuring technical non-functional requirements like resiliency, security, and efficiency. You will collaborate with Sr. Product Owner(s) to align product vision with technology strategy and oversee the design process for applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop product vision and strategy in alignment with technology strategy.
• Lead application design process and coach other architects on product quality strategy.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks.
• Train others in solution design patterns and engage in understanding modern technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Engineering, or Technical Architecture.
• Internal applicants require technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Finacle, AWS, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
