Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join the Violence Intervention Project at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. (APM) in Philadelphia, PA. As a member of the Community Services department under the supervision of the Director of Community Services, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals impacted by violence in North Philadelphia. This position offers a starting salary of $49,920 and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurances, retirement plan, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to program participants using the Rewire CBT Model.
- Train parents in Evidence Based Child Rearing programs.
- Engage with non-fatal shooting victims and individuals at risk of violence.
- Collaborate with community connectors and hospital-based violence programs.
- Deliver CBT and PE therapeutic services to individuals and families.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and session progress notes.
- Participate in clinical supervision and required trainings to enhance professional skills.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in clinical mental health discipline.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in DAP documentation and EHR systems.
- Experience in facilitating psychotherapeutic and educational groups.
- Strong communication skills and regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) is preferred.
