Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join the Violence Intervention Project at Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. (APM) in Philadelphia, PA. As a member of the Community Services department under the supervision of the Director of Community Services, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals impacted by violence in North Philadelphia. This position offers a starting salary of $49,920 and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurances, retirement plan, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services to program participants using the Rewire CBT Model.
  • Train parents in Evidence Based Child Rearing programs.
  • Engage with non-fatal shooting victims and individuals at risk of violence.
  • Collaborate with community connectors and hospital-based violence programs.
  • Deliver CBT and PE therapeutic services to individuals and families.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and session progress notes.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and required trainings to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in clinical mental health discipline.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in DAP documentation and EHR systems.
  • Experience in facilitating psychotherapeutic and educational groups.
  • Strong communication skills and regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) is preferred.
