Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the healthcare team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a physical therapist, you will provide essential care to patients at different stages of illness and health. Your role will involve diagnosing and managing movement issues, improving physical abilities, and enhancing overall quality of life through movement and health optimization.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction in patients.
• Enhance physical and functional abilities through therapy.
• Promote optimal quality of life related to movement and health.
• Prevent the progression of impairments, limitations, and disabilities resulting from various conditions.
• Provide direct care as a member of therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare patients, families, and caregivers for post-discharge care.
• Participate in consultative services within the organization and the community.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth, development, and continuous improvement of patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in Vermont.
• Site-specific experience is preferred.
