Are you passionate about caring for, nurturing, and mentoring children? Keene Young Mens is seeking an Associate Teacher to join our team at the Keene Family YMCA. As an Associate Teacher, you will play a crucial role in implementing our program curriculum and providing a quality experience focused on youth development and our core values. Responsibilities
- Implement curriculum within established guidelines.
- Design and implement daily lesson/activity plans.
- Supervise children, classroom, and activities.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of each child.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and engage them as volunteers.
- Attend program activities, family nights, staff meetings, and training sessions.
Requirements
- Meet educational and experience qualifications (9 ECE Credits).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Hold CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of health form within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children preferred.
- Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate program activities.
