Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is actively seeking full-time Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. Starting at 7:00am from Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for efficient merchandise movement, storage, and distribution, ensuring accurate order processing and exceptional customer service.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position
This role focuses on merchandise handling, including maintaining space efficiency, managing inventory flow using the POS system, and providing some training to fellow employees. Additionally, you will engage in customer service activities, resolve inventory discrepancies, and uphold safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct efficient merchandise movement within the warehouse.
- Handle incoming and outgoing product processing and ensure accuracy.
- Provide basic training to colleagues and demonstrate exemplary work ethics.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and management.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; basic math skills required.
- Experience with tools, hardware, and product assembly.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
- POS system familiarity is beneficial.
