Join our team at Slumberland Furniture as a Full-time Merchandise Handler. We are hiring Warehouse Workers proficient in Forklift Operations to work Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 am. Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This role focuses on merchandise movement, including storing, relocating, and organizing products. Additionally, the position involves training other employees and ensuring accurate customer orders and inventory records.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently move and manage merchandise within locations.
• Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Use POS system for merchandise management.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise. Prepare outgoing items for shipment.
• Provide training to team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment and merchandise integrity.
• Perform grounds, building maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or working towards completion.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
