Logistics Specialist

Job Description

The Town Dock is seeking a qualified Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all third-party domestic logistics movement, distribution, and storage transactions. Collaboration with vendors and carriers to ensure timely delivery and optimize cost efficiency will be a key part of your role.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the customer-facing domestic logistics process.
• Collaborate with storage facilities, handle necessary paperwork for deliveries.
• Maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and evaluate freight costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order fulfillment, processing, and transportation.
• Report on departmental KPIs, collaborate with sales on projections and planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and willing to learn ERP systems.

Compensation

$26-28 per hour
