Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to clinic patients according to established standards and practices within their LPN licensure scope. Acting as the primary link between patients, staff, and providers, the role involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to address patient needs effectively. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, triaging patient calls, refilling prescriptions, completing prior authorizations, and supporting colleagues such as CNA's and Schedulers while receiving direction from Providers, Coordinators, Clinical Managers/Supervisors, and RN's.

Education

• Graduate of a Nursing Program, required.
• Compliance with current standards for continuing education mandated by State/Federal licensure regulations, required.

License/Certifications

• Current state LPN or CMA/RMA license, required.
• Basic Life Support certification from a College of Technology/Nursing, required.
• Adherence to latest continuing education standards as stipulated by State/Federal licensure regulations, required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures, required.
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology, Keyboarding, and Basic Office Skills, required.

Pre-Employment Screening
