Job Description
We are currently looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by safely delivering and setting up merchandise for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
- Establish customer greeting, conduct pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Maintain proper handling, operating, and maintenance of trucks and equipment to prevent injuries or damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work independently, provide direction, and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a dynamic environment.
- Must pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screenings.
