Field Service Technician

Job Description

Dreisilker Electric Motors Inc is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Glen Ellyn, IL. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components of industrial control assemblies, both on-site at customer locations and in shop settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform field balancing and vibration analysis.
• Execute motor installations and pump repairs.
• Conduct pulley alignment, belt tensioning, and laser alignment of equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical issues.
• Offer tech phone support and maintain various systems.

Requirements

• Experience in field service, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding electrical systems.
• Ability to work on pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including AC/DC motors.
