Job Description
GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation, and mechanical contracting, is looking for Field Industrial Technicians to join our Field Operations team. As a Field Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for performing various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects. This includes welding, rigging, millwright, painting, and more, often under challenging conditions such as working from heights and confined spaces.
Our core competency lies in the safe processing of steel structures, weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels, and sheet metal components. We prioritize safety and quality in all our projects.
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites and perform installation tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment, welding tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial installation tasks.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment and power tools.
- Knowledge of welding processes and safety standards.
