Job Description
Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. is currently looking for a dedicated Diesel Mechanic/Technician C to join our team on a full-time basis. As a member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the fleet of vehicles and equipment crucial for our freight transportation operations. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our diesel over-the-road and city tractors, city straight trucks, and industrial forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on various vehicle systems.
- Track and manage work orders to meet service schedules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol tests.
- Preferred experience in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, and ASE Certification.
