Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician C to join our team at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As a key member of our transportation equipment maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and ensuring the optimal functionality of a variety of freight-handling equipment, including diesel tractors, trucks, and forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain diesel tractors, trucks, and forklifts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks and perform necessary repairs to equipment.
- Track work progress to meet service timelines and customer requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 6+ months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to pass background check, alcohol, and drug tests.
- Preferably certified in Diesel Engine Repair, ASE Certification, or related fields.
Pay Scale and Job Type
Salary: $28.80-$35.80 per hour.
Job Type: Full-Time.
Work Shift: Second Shift.
