Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Abacus Childcare. The Lead Teacher is responsible for formulating and implementing the curriculum, weekly lesson plans, and training Assistant Teachers. Additionally, the Lead Teacher acts as a liaison with parents, staff relationships, and peer relationships, ensuring a positive and nurturing environment for young children. The ideal candidate must have a CDA and classroom experience, exhibit professionalism, sensitivity, and possess strong management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implementing curriculum and lesson plans.
• Training Assistant Teachers.
• Building positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Maintaining all paperwork and children's files.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and First Aid procedures.

Requirements

• CDA certification.
• Experience in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
