Job Description

ATA Services, Inc. is looking for Accounts Payable/Receivable specialists to join our team on a 4-month temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico Environmental Department in Santa Fe.

• Salary: $23 per hour, weekly pay
• Start: Immediately
• Duration: 4 months
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

This role involves tracking budgets, revenue, and performing reconciliations, including payroll, default time, and grant reconciliations. Responsibilities also include cost package assembly, preparing adjusting journal entries, budget tracking, and financial and administrative tasks to support the Bureaus within the Statewide Human Resources Accounting and Management Reporting System (SHARE).

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with SHARE software
• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain information confidentiality

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable
• Knowledge of accounting software and online platforms
