We are currently seeking Warehouse Workers to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $17 per hour with a Monday to Friday schedule starting at 7:00 am. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in merchandise movement, training, and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position

• Store, move, and distribute merchandise efficiently.
• Lead by example and provide training to other employees.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise within locations.
• Handle merchandise for customer orders, deliveries, and shipments.
• Utilize the POS system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy on customer orders and system records.
• Unpack, inspect, assemble, and wrap merchandise for shipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety policies and practices.
• Contribute to a safe and organized facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
