Job Description
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of the General Counsel, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team as Senior Attorneys and Attorneys. The Senior Attorneys will have the opportunity to work on a sophisticated portfolio with a high degree of private-sector relevance, while Attorney positions provide valuable training and experience for those newer to the practice of law.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and representation for the Contracts & Rulemaking, Prosecution & Enforcement, or Workers' Compensation sections.
- Handle contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance with state and federal laws.
- Participate in competitive solicitations and rule promulgations.
- Practice in administrative and appellate forums as needed.
Minimum Salary
- Senior Attorneys: $75,000.00 with benefits
- Attorneys: $65,000.00 with benefits
