Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC in New Berlin, WI. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the modification and modernization of electric overhead cranes for Region Americas. Your responsibilities will include interpreting order documentation, performing engineering tasks, creating detailed drawings, and ensuring project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical and structural design activities for electric overhead cranes.
• Interpret customer specifications and project plans.
• Create equipment layouts and generate final mechanical and structural designs.
• Write detailed work instructions for field installation.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and budget performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with overhead electric cranes.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work at heights up to 100 feet.

Additional Information

Travel domestically and internationally estimated at 5%.
